Welcome 2026

Hey all!

It's been a little while, hasn't it? Hoping you all had a good end to 2025 and that 2026 treats you well!

As for myself, I've been a busy bee outside of the internet world. The end of 2025 was pretty much one long haze for me. Thanksgiving rolled around, and before I knew it I was hustling and bustling every day, losing track of time, and before I knew it we were all saying "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!". And on top of that, Llaeli and I recently moved ourselves into a new place to live, and that has been quite the process. Fortunately it's all gone smoothly, and we've gotten ourselves settled and happy here. The new office is also ready to roll and I can get myself back into drawing and making cartoons!

2025 was a solid year for me. Celebrated the 100th comic of Dino Bones, as well as getting the first DB book published! (Thank you all so much again for the support on it <3) I also attempted selling some art at local convention again (this time I was more prepared), and it was a fun experience. As for 2026, I don't want to pressure myself on making any huge feats and such, BUT I do have some plans in mind that I think will be fun. Aside from having a more consistent output of comics, I would love to have at least one new animated short made. There were a few I started during 2024 and 2025 but just never finished, and would like to see that changed. Plus it's been quite a while since my last animated short, and I miss the process (for the most part lol). I also would like to get another book in the works by the end of this year, if I can. Could it be another Dino Bone? Or even Temple Hunters? Who knows? Only time will tell... hehe

Speaking of both comics, I want to put a heavier emphasis on them this year, so that'll likely mean less illustrations in order to have a more regular output. Temple Hunters will especially get more attention this year, as it'll be much needed for how much of the story I want to get done. As for Dino Bones, hey we just celebrated the 5th anniversary of the comic on the 15th! Crazy how fast time flies, because it really doesn't feel like it's been that long already. I'll continue to make more of those silly guys for as long as I can, they bring me a type of joy and satisfaction that's hard to describe, and I'm grateful you guys enjoy them as well!

Anyway, that's all I really got to say for now. More cartoons will be coming soon, so stay tooned! :P

(and stay creative ;P)

-Brandon
