Animation in the works

Here's some screenshots of what I've been working on today. It's an animated parody of the video game, "Splatoon".

Temple Hunters

Some character doodles and a new logo for my series that's in the works, "Temple Hunters". Had a lot of fun doing these today.

Hi folks!

Hey folks, a quick update on things! I've recently been working on commissions, so I haven't had a whole lotta time to make my personal work for the site. Also this past weekend, we were hit with a blizzard where I live and we got snowed in, so that has been keeping me busy. haha Oh! And speaking of this past weekend, my animated parody of "the Walking Dead" was featured on Channel Frederator's Cartoon block on Saturday the 23rd Now as of this moment I'm working on a simple looping animation to exercise my skills, and will probably do a digital painting later tonight. In addition, I'll be updating my daily sketches as well, seeing that I haven't kept up with that the past couple days. Until

Tracer of Overwatch

A fan-art piece I made today of the character Tracer. Her design is really awesome in my opinion and I couldn't help myself. haha I also added this gif to show my process of making the image.

The Mighty Hunter

My character Kiki is ready for the hunt! Made this as a warm-up drawing for the day.

Dino Party

Looks like Zarland and Trixie are having a good time together. ^__^

Sketches of the Week

I had done a number of sketches this week while during my breaks at work. Most were just scribble practice to defunk myself from not feeling too well, but these ones in particular came out the best and I'll be doing colored versions of them soon.

Satyr doodle

I love fantasy creatures, and satyrs are up there among my personal favorites. I'll probably be coming back to this picture in the near future to do a better quality/colored version for my gallery.

Silly Sketches

Was away for the weekend, and in that time I made these doodles. Though grant it, they were done on Sunday, Saturday was spent driving a lot. haha I may also return to this clock picture in the future and create a larger, colored version of it. :)

Expressions, shapes, and a cranky lady

As the title suggests, these are some doodles I did tonight. Some facial expressions of Zarland the dinosaur, a couple random shapes turned into characters, and last but not least, a sketch of my love (who is currently sick).

A look into my Art Process

Since this is my first piece into 2016, I figured it'd be the best one to kick off on with showing my art process! - I always start with a sketch. It helps rough out/plan out where everything is going to be in the scene. It also helps capture the effect of characters' emotions, and body motions. -Next I jump into outlining everything. This part can become tedious for a lot of people, but I find it very relaxing. Most of the time I just use a basic black outline, but if I feel like getting more fancy I'll use a colored outline to give the image a better pop. -After that's all taken care of, I add the flat colors. These are just the base colors for anything and everything in a scene/piece. -An

Happy New Year 2016!

Welcome to the New Year everyone! I orginally intended for this picture to be completed on December 31st of 2015, but it ended up taking me a LOT longer to make than expected. Nevertheless, my characters seem to all be having a good time celebrating their way into the New Year! :)
