Flying Bye

Is it just me or is the month of March going by really quick?

Hope you guys are doing well. Haha!

Well this month has been proving to be a crazy one. In a fun/good way! Thanks to the efforts of my awesome girlfriend, and one my best friends, I now have a "new" PC. More accurately an older one that's got some fancy new updates equipped to it! It's made doing work a heck of a lot easier. On my previous computer, there would be rough lagging, long loading times when starting up programs, and even the computer slowing down when project files started getting too big. Thankfully none of that is a problem anymore! Currently my only issue is getting my copy of ToonBoom onto this new computer in order to continue making animations. That will have to wait a little bit however! I have taken in a batch of new commissions from Twitter for the month, and come tomorrow I will be taking a plane trip out to Vegas with my girlfriend! And no we won't be gambling our savings away. Haha.

Since the trip starts tomorrow, and that I won't be back until next week, I decided to get out this blog post now and keep these updates somewhat consistent.

As per usual, here are some doodles/illustrations I made during down time between work. It's always good to take a breather and make something for yourself once in a while.

The first two drawings were done fairly quick, like most sketches. The last piece (which has also been added to the Art Gallery) was given much more time. I spent about 3 days (taking a couple hours from each day) working on it while taking breaks from other work. Looking back, I should have recorded it to be a new Speed Paint video for Youtube, but ah well, there's always next time.

In much more recent news, the Facebook Page just reached 500 likes!!

It feels like a nice milestone. My Facebook page has always felt small by comparison to the other social media sites I use, but I still appreciate it all the same. It's nice reminder than some things just need time to grow, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Well, I'd better go finish packing my things. Got a long week ahead! I'll be sure to share our adventure on my Twitter and Facebook as it goes along. Then maybe do a recap here after we return.

Stay creative, and I'll see y'all next time!
